Introduction to the 2nd Annual Drukpa Council
It was extremely admirable to witness the harmonious joined efforts and the fruitful results borne; and especially to witness the wishes of His Holiness being fulfilled. Even His Holiness recently mentioned that the aim of the Annual Drukpa Council had been achieved through the success of the 1st ADC.
The ADC belongs not, to one monastery, one region or even a country, but it belongs to the entire Drukpa Lineage; it is an event that belongs to many countries and millions of people, therefore we must realize that it will take much effort and time to make improvements and work out issues for positive results to bear fruit. Nonetheless, the 1st ADC has indeed put positive consequences in motion, though they may be small and slow, they are significant and fundamental to the changes needed for the greater association and integration within our Drukpa community.
